Salon 12B

Salon 12B is a series of evening events at KWDS dedicated to artistic research and its key topics in an open round of conversation. The founding idea is to offer an informal and inspiring space for joint reflection and exchange, initiated by concrete musical and artistic research practice. We welcome not only KUG-affiliated colleagues and students who are close to or want to learn more about artistic research, but also invited, knowledgeable guests and interlocutors from the international scene, such as Garth Knox and Florian Dombois at the 2019 inaugural salons. Salon 12B transforms the experimental laboratory of KWDS into a space where internal supervisors, external advisors, doctoral students of artistic-scientific research, and current and potential future artistic researchers from the entire KUG meet for a stimulating and enriching exchange of ideas.
